Welcome to Solar Projects Unlimited, where our 20+ years of experience translates into quality work and positive change in our Northern California communities. John Davis, owner and manager started working in the solar industry in 2002 as a partner in an existing installation company. After a few years he decided to start a couple of his own companies, while continuing work on solar electric installations. Solar Racks was one of the first solar racking companies in the United States where John engineered, manufactured and distributed racking systems worldwide. A couple of years later, and with a couple of partners, Solar Hot Water Plus was started. Together, they engineered and installed over a hundred of solar hot water systems in Humboldt, Del Norte and Mendocino counties. In 2008, John decided to merge his companies into Solar Projects Unlimited. With his extensive experience in racking, solar electric and solar hot water, he is able to work out what his customers need most and make it happen for them.
